Hi there!

I’m Kristen! I spent the last 2 years in my van life era, but now I travel part-time while having a home-base in lovely Ogden, Utah.

I grew up in Palm Springs, near Joshua Tree, so I have a soft spot in my heart for both the mountain AND desert landscapes.

I’m passionate about authentically capturing each couple’s unique love story as art pieces they get to cherish forever…

I’ve been photographing weddings now for 7+ years and have traveled all over the country for some pretty incredible couples.

I have an appetite for adventure: I love type 2 fun, skiing, trail running, and mountain biking. Relationships are a priority for me, and I definitely LOVE my people. In case you’re wondering, I do happen to be a professional quoter of ‘The Office’ and ‘Friends’, so if you are too, we will get along just fiiiine.

FAQ + Answers

yes! absolutely you can always upgrade hours, add ons + packages that best suit and will best serve your day! you have up to 3 weeks prior to your date for add ons and 1 week prior for extra hours.
I never want to feel rushed with your photos because I believe in the process and quality I offer.
For weddings: I give myself a buffer of 10 weeks after your date, but sometimes they will hit your inbox sooner!
Have no fear, you will surely see photos much sooner than that because I offer 48 HOUR PREVIEWS (70+ photos) after the wedding so that you can cherish the moments through photos right away!
For regular sessions:
I give myself 2-3 weeks, especially during busy season, but I try my best to finish them the week of your shoot!
I backup all of your raw photos on 2 separate hard-drives + on adobe cloud. it’s very important to me to keep your photos safe. trust me, I am invested in these too so you know I got your back!
although still beautiful, trust me, you won’t want the unedited photos. when I shoot, I shoot purposefully knowing how I will be editing each photo in post. the only ‘raw’ photos you will want to see are the 35mm film photos.
it mostly depends on your day & how many hours you book me for! the most important thing to note is that I do not put a cap on how many photos I will deliver. I give you a minimum that I promise to deliver, but likely there will be more. my average 8 hour wedding I promise 800+ but will deliver 1,000+ photos.
yes I do! I keep those separate from my packages because I have found that not all couples want or need engagements. however, I always love the chance to work with couples before their big day, so… I offer a $100 discount on a session to help serve you in this process!

I LOVE capturing the little unplanned moments, ie sister helping cary the train of the bride’s dress while they walk toward the ceremony, the lifelong friends dancing together to ABBA on the dance floor, grandma crying happy tears watching her grandson marry the love of his life, etc.
But my favorite planned moments are almost always: first looks, private vows, father daughter dances, and when everyone enters the dance floor!
I’m on my feet all day and sometimes forget to eat, so sometimes I throw nerds clusters or gummy bears in my pocket to keep some sugar in me!
I love, love and people who love each other. I love seeing friends and family gather to celebrate the couple. I love seeing the couple smile ear to ear all day being with their closest people. Watching them shower each other in love during toasts and thanking each other for being such an integral part in their lives. It’s just all beautiful.
Again, love is love. I don’t care if I’m capturing a big wedding or a ceremony of two. I am just always honored, and so happy, to be there to document the moment.
